On Isla works with a small roster of independent chefs, bartenders, and musicians we know personally, built through years of running experiences on Isla Mujeres. We don't list everyone. We book the ones we'd hire for our own family.

Here's how it normally goes.

It's 6pm. Everyone's sunburned and hungry. Somebody has to figure out where twelve people can eat. The good places in Centro don't take reservations for a group your size, or they do and it's 9:15pm. You split into three golf carts. Two of them get lost. The kids are done before the food arrives. You get one check for $600 USD and spend twenty minutes doing math on your phone.

Then you go back to the villa you rented specifically because it has a gorgeous kitchen and a terrace facing the water. Which nobody used.

That's the part that stings.

You paid for the view. You paid for the space. And you ate somewhere else.

Once your dates and chef are confirmed, we will send a link to pay a 20% deposit and get a signature on our chef agreement to confirm your date

You can even choose your chef if you know who you want to use.

2. coordinate with your chef handler

They're picking the fish that came in this morning, not what was frozen last week. If you asked for tikin xic, they're buying the grouper for it right now. Confirm with a signed service agreement and 20% deposit.

3. The kitchen starts smelling incredible

Some groups sit at the counter and watch. Some ask questions and end up learning how to make salsa macha. Some stay in the pool. All of it is fine.

4. Dinner on your terms

Plated and served, course by course. The sun is going down over the bay. Nobody is looking for a waiter.

An independent local chef from our vetted roster. On Isla handles the matching and the booking. Your chef owns the menu, the cooking, the service, and the cleanup.

How does payment work?

A 20% deposit to On Isla reserves your date and chef. You pay the balance directly to your chef. Card payment handling is available on request.

Can you handle allergies and dietary needs?

Yes. Tell us when you book and we factor it into the chef match. Your chef confirms the final menu with you directly.

What if our plans change?

Do you only do dinner?
